Concept M3 revealed
However, I just feel like as much as I like, love and respect Audi's when it comes down to it, I prefer the Mercedes/BMW counterpart. So in that case, instead of the R8, I might opt for the SLR, but I'm not sure.

By the way, in traffic I can always tell an SMG M3 to the 6-speed*. See how close he stays behind the car ahead. If he gives the car ahead miles before he moves, stick. If he moves bumper to bumper (stop and go, stop and go), SMG.
*Lazy and aggressive drivers do vary the results a little, but generally it's a good indication.

i hate driving in traffic even with the auto. can't imagine what it's like with a manual.

lol...the estimated price of the R8 keeps on moving up. I love it tho. The alternative to M6 and SL55 yet it's a real supercar.

that's a nice way of saying, "look for the SMG car to be jerky!" I think that's an easier way to tell between SMG and stick rather than who falls behind...the R8 is an alternative to the M6 and SL55, it's like the cheap version of the gallardo. although, I think I'd choose the M6 or SL55 over it any day though still (especially how evosport has been getting pretty big gains off of the BMW v10 these days)... the R8 is nowhere close to being on the supercar level as the SLR though...

all you need to do is ease off the throttle a bit while tapping the pedal or the lever to up or down shift. that's all there is to it.
they all will fall behind me anyways.

and yeah, well when you're car is back up and running
is it back yet?

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The car will no doubt draw more attention, but it's not like an Aston to command the same premium over a Porsche.
SMG WILL be offered on the new M3, 6-speed is optional.
///M division is working on SMGIV
The V8 is based on the v10's architecture just with 2 fewer cylinders, hence it mates better with an SMG.
There will NEVER be a steptronic auto offered on an M car.

Auto-Motor-Sport.de says the new E92 M3 will have only 6-speed manual initially and then will be followed by the "DSG"

is it the 9th set?
(oem>LM6>Axis Phin>HRE>Carlsson 1/16>DCR>next) lolit's gonna be Carlsson's 1/5. just gonna be something simple and makes the red brembo stands out. it'll help me pay for the damage on my rear bumper as well when summer comes.

1/5's? I thought you were Mr. Multispokes! Want to trade your DCR'S for some GT3's?
