keep the car at 18" will not let me loose any power, but what if i was able to find a 18" with 235/265 set up. that would eliminate the problem of rubbing for sure, and increases the handling of the car. ? so would that work? or do u think since i don't want to loose any power. i should just stick with 225/255 setup
That being said, if you want to be 100% sure you don't loose any power, go with the 225/255.

A 235/265 setup wouldn't necessarily eliminate the problem of rubbing (even if they are on 18" rims) because you have to consider that they will be taller tires than what would be on 19's. The thing that "saves" you is that the 235/265 setup on 18's is a very similar rolling diameter to the 19 inch setup.
That being said, if you want to be 100% sure you don't loose any power, go with the 225/255.

It really depends on what price range you are looking at. After that, you'd have to pick between lightweight/peformance vs. looks. If you want a combination of both, then it's a matter of whether you want to go 1 piece, 2 piece, or 3 piece. If you are down to spend the money, there are a lot of different choices. Just gotta decide what is exactly right for you. No matter what you do, be sure to do a lot of research before buying the rims. Don't just buy rims because they're inexpensive or they "look good". My theory is, buy them one time and be happy with them.
Or, if you're Mr. money bags like FrankW (j/k Frank
), you can switch to different rims every other year!...LOL.

ok for sure, i will have to look around to find a good wheel for my car, but it seems like for the most part i will stick with the AMG for now, and then i guess the best bet would be to get the realy AMG 2 piece wheel, when i can save enough money for it but those wheels are really $$$ are they really worth the money? i have been told that they are a really light weight wheel?
