i'm gonna guess a CLK something something. From the front wheel to the front bumper it's too short to be the CL, so the obvious alternative would be the CLK.
EDIT: it's 100% the CLK63 black series. the fender flare threw me off a bit thinking that it's the CL, but after looking at the picture of the black series that seems to be it.

A CLK65?? What the hell is that? It'd be a CLK63 (like the C/CLS/E class), only SL's, CL's and S-Class get the 65-engine.

Here are CL65 pics from the show setup. Only thing I don't get is the trunk spoiler. The covered car for sure has a trunk spoiler but the CL65 is super flat. Wait, wheels are different too now that I look twice.

I also feel it's has to be the CL65 because it's the only 65 and AMG left that has not been introduced yet since the older body TTV12! I put the deed to my house ,the title to my cars and my precious Sexy Wife on this one!

It could be the C-Class, have they ever shown it? (The AMG-version in live press?)... But I'm confused. Is this 1st time unveiling worldwide? As in this model has never been seen before or has not been seen in the U.S. Market?
If it's ever -- then it'll be the CLK63 Black Edition; if it's just for the U.S. then CL-Coupe.
That image is probably not a good representation of the actual car.

That aside, I don't believe the campaign and the debut in NYC are related. If the shrouded car is, indeed, the actual vehicle, you are correct about the 2 doors.
I vote CLK (of some sort).

I think that the picture is covering the CLK63 Black Series and the CL65 will also be unveiled at the show. When I was invited I was told that there was the world premier of two AMG models and that Mornhinweg will in from Germany for the event. Maybe I'll get to meet the infamous Dr. Z too. haha

If it is the CL65, it is the worst kept secret in the automotive world. I just read my new Autoweek. The cover story is the CL65. Nice story with pictures and recap of the 40th anniversary of AMG.

Hey now, this is actually gettting good AMG.
CL65 details were released this AM from Benz so I guess CL65 under that curtain is definitely out.
Gotta say, well done AMG. This is creating quite a buzz. Can't wait to see what she is.
