Tiresssssssss
Goodyear GSD3s - had them on my 19" set for my C32. great all around tires as far as handling/performance/wet etc... but cant comment on wear as i only had them for about 4 months. also theyre pretty heavy. i had 235/35 and 265/30 19's for arguments sake.
Bridgstone - no comment, never had them
Toyo T1R - have them on 18" brabus MB VIs on my C32. love these tires, probably my favorite. for the price considering the performance and wear i think they are a great contestant to the PS2 and GSD3 but cost much less then both (well, at least the PS2s were crazy $$$$) sizes are 225/40 & 255/35 18's.
If you need a simple answer i'd say go for the Goodyear or TOYOs. good luck, either way i think anyone will do, depends where you get them from and what sizes and what ur really looking for. dont forget they ALL have there pros and cons... guess i didnt make it any easier

PS2: 22lbs, Treadwear=220
RE050A-PP: 26lbs Treadwear=140
F1 GS-D3: 24lbs Treadwear=280
RE050 by far the softest compound (comfort) but strongest sidewall strength.
Both PS2 and RER050A-PP have new asymmetric tread design for noise reduction, and rotatability. Only the GS-D3 is with the older directional design. PS2 is middle of the road, most expensive, but you can't really go wrong with it.

Please keep in mind that treadwear alone is NOT the best way to know how soft, best traction, a tire is.
Nor is it the best way to determine how long a tire will last, from brand to brand. My BFG's rated at 220 would wear out WAY before my Goodyears at a treadwear of 180.
Just FYI
See yeah
I agree that treadwear is not everything, but it's a big factor in determin how your tires are going to perform. For example, you can easily feel a big difference between Bridgestone's soft 140 rubber and Goodyear's harder 280. The other major factor is the tread design, more rubber on the ground, you are going to get more traction and less control in the wet.
They only tell you how much mileage you'll get out of the tire but a tire is made up of many things and not just the tread compound.
The PS2's lasted about 10k miles, but the great traction lasted about 7.. spun my wheels like mad the last 3k miles..
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
They were great at first, but after about 9k miles they had very little grip left.. I just got a set of Nexen 3000's.. The whole set was under $600 installed. I think they are great so far.. the tread is much thicker and the tread pattern looks pretty nice! I went cheap because I might get 19's at some point, but I am very pleased with these so far.. quiet, and seem to grip awesome..

I was just tring to point out that the number game does not mean everything.
MY BFG R1's for example had treadwear of 60, C Traction and C temp.
Yet they were/are some of the BEST race tires ever.
Traction rating is for a WET stop only.
Oh well, have fun

255/35/18 / 225/40/18.
