Strange, I just installed my LPP laser jammers yesterday! I installed mine in the grill though, not the lower mesh area. Mounting the jammers was pretty intense.

We tried mounting it between the grill holes but it wouldn't fitt. I would be intersted to see how you got it to fit, post some pictures.

Here are a few pictures of the fabrication. I had to make some custom aluminum brackets to fit them in there. I used a LPP, and the emitters are a lot smaller than the M20's (and *MUCH* more powerful). The two little guys are the LPP emitters, and the big ol guy in the middle is a Blinder emitter.

Most laser jammers do not work well, but some work great. M20/M40 used to be the 'big dog' and the only real option, and it works pretty well. Now the new ones to get are the LPP or AL8. If you use it properly, most guns will not show a jam code. Because of the nature of lidar guns, it is kinda hard for them to get a feel for your actual speed, so they won't be able to tell that you were going 55 in the 35 then slowed down to 35.

Yup, the point is to block the fuzz whilst you are slowing down, not to act like you can do what you want.

I also have the M20, does a great job. My front installation is the same as yours, some of the lower grill cut out, but with the licence plate in, you cant see them.

How did you do the rear installation. Mine pretty obvious , so i am thinking of getting a black backplate to hide em.

I can put up some pics if you want a basis for comparison?

does it still work if u put it behind the plate, i thought they have to be open for them to work well. i would like to see the pic of ur car's front mount and rear mount.
i have been thinking about getting them, but i dont want to be pulled over and them asking me if i have a jammer, and get them searching my car for it.

Are they illegal up there? They're not in Illinois.

Yes, they must be 100% exposed to work. They can not be hidden behind mesh and must be perfectly level to work properly. They blend in well with my black grill. I did not put one on the rear. I have yet to see or be hit by lidar pointed at the back of the vehicle.

If you have a silver car, you really should be using the Blinder M40 (4 heads) or the dual head LPP or AL8 with all of the heads on the front of the vehicle. If you have a black car you can get by the M20 (2 up front) or the single head LPP or AL8.

Make sure that you're in an area that actually uses lidar before you invest in a setup. Here in Chicago, they usually only use them when it is hot out.

Sorry, the pics are with my cellphone. The on/ff switch is located on the underside of the drivers dash, just above my shin. I want a black backplate behind my rear licence plate to make the sensors a bit less obvious..

Also, i have the M40, but i think that just means 2 more sensors

Ya i think they are illegal here. but if u can hid it well enought that they cant find it or u are not the only one on the road when they target u, u should be ok, i have friends that have Jammers on there ferrair and they have not been busted with it yet. In Vancouver the most we have to worry about is laser, and they are everywhere. The cops here are going crazy with that stuff. i have the V1 in my car and i have hidden it really well in my car that u cat really see if from the out of the car unless u know where to look. however they are not illegal here but i have come to know they pick on u more if they see u have a Radar Detector. So i dont know if this Jammer would work for me or not.

does it matter where u mount it, is not true the higher they are mounted the better they will be?

Thanks dude. Never considered about how you guys with the smaller plates having a problem re mounting.

Yup, the LED glows green in day to day driving. When you get picked on, it turns red the the sound systems gives you (loud) warning beep. The switch is mounted where it is so i can switch it off after i slow down, but if i get stopped, good luck to them tryin to find it

I think the higher up you mount it the more ideal. Obviously on the front, you are limited in choice, with the rear though, you can pretty much get it almost waist high.
