I remember seeing that picture and thinking about it last night when I lifted the surge tanks, "Please god dont have an IC leak...". Luckily all was good. Is it rock solid?

Pretty old topic. So today I received my phelonic spacers and of course I threw them on immediately. Anyway, when I had the surge tanks off I was looking inside at the valves. I noticed there was coolant on top of a couple of the valves. Its not bad like the aforementioned picture but still there. Any words of wisdom at this point?

There are cleaners you can buy at PepBoys/Autozone/etc that DO really work. ANY good fuel injector cleaner will take care of this. My favorite being Chevron for about $8.00. Guys DON'T be CHEAP here the cleaners that cost $1.50 DO NOTHING. They are just alcohol, you REALLY do get what you pay for in this department. Hope it helps.

See yeah

+1

MRAMG1, FWIW, I also believe that Chevron's Techron fuel system cleaner is one of only two MB approved ones to use (the other being an MB product), IIRC.
