Cracking sounds
When i have the Air on, warm or cold the trim on the car makes cracking sounds when i hit a small bumb or large ones. Do any of your cars do this? and what can i do to fix it? Sorry if the explanation wasnt clear enough but i hope if you have this problem you will know what time talking about. Thanks Shane

my car with the fan on to the climate controls makes a rubbing sound very faint rubbing sound like the fan hitting something and my driver side leg blower vents never push out anything warm or cold... but i really haven't gotten under there to check it out... but im assuming your cracking noise might be a loose dash clip or screw... and with the expanding and contracting of the plastic... its making the noise?

I did have an issue like that. Iin my case it was gearing on electric motor that controls flaps for airflow direction inside dashboard. If you do not have warranty and can live with noise do not attempt to repairs.
Cost:
$19.95 parts
$900.00 labor
- 10 hrs to replace it. You must take entire dashboard a part to remove faulty part.

I do have Warranty. Is there a better way i should present this to the stealership?? I think i only have about 300 more miles on the factory warrenty but i also have the extended as well. Is there anything major or minor i should have them check while its in there??

I did hear like thumping noise from the A/C took it to Mercedes and didn't found anything but then the noise was gone but about the cracking noise can't really say...
