C32 Oil leak question

I have some oil coming from either the front main or the oil pan. Any one have any experience with a leak in either place? I can not wait to go to the dealer for this one. Maybe I can avoid it. The car has is a 2003 and has 54,000 miles. Will any dealers stretch the warranty?

Did you do oil change recently? I have heard about oil filter not being seated properly can cause that...

No, I got under the car and pulled the undercarriage protection. I sprayed the oil off with brake clean. It is coming from the front main or the pan I am almost positive.

The dealer did change the oil at 50,000 miles. I am not sure when the leak started. I went to the track this weekend and noticed the burning smell after the first run. Obviously had nothig to do with that as I noticed it is all under the car.

check if there's 2 must gearbox oil..

It is not leaking from the filter area. For sure from the main seal or the pan. I was wondering if they have any problems with this. Is the front main something that can be replaced by owner or are special tools required other than the seal tool?
