World Class Driving Event
Had a great time. Spent the entire day driving the SLR, Gallardo roadster, F430, GT3 and Ford Gt.
Loved them all but for me the FGT was king. I'm a little burnt out on high-revs for power, and the GT was simply incredible, even at 1000 rpm.

Sweet! I agree with you about the Ford GT. My experience was from the passenger seat but it was still unbelievably scary fast. We were crossing the Laureles Grade outside of Laguna Seca Raceway. If you've driven that pass in a mere mortal vehicle, you will appreciate what kind of experience that could be in the FGT.

The funny thing is, I still drove away with some serious appreciation for the C32. I know all its quirks and I've adjusted for them and really enjoy it for what it is. And it still felt like it had more power down low than some of the exotics I drove. There's nothing like hitting the wrong gear in the GT3 (I was babying it as it was the first car I drove and we were all nervous as hell) and feeling like it was hauling a trailer.
If I do get the FGT, I'm keeping the 32 for my daily.
And Fast, save your bucks and do that thing! They are talking about upgrading their cars every nine months or so and are soon to receive a Ferrari 599 and possibly an Enzo next year. It was a blast!

I was one click away from signing up, even had all my info in there. I took another look at the site and realized that you just drive around on the street, and they don't let you speed or rev the car. $1295 for that. It you want to drive them on a track it is $3000 and in Canada. 3k is a little too difficult for me to swallow

I will simply say this: their quote is "use good judgement."
Now, if that good judgement means slowing to a crawl in order to let the car in front of you gain some 200 car lengths and then letting it rip with good conditions and a firm grip on the wheel then hey...
Let's put it this way: I ripped those corners a new one and found out what it was like to haul *** in 1.5 million dollars worth of cars for half a day (more than that actually, but only due to cancellations). Worth it?
