the silver finish on the rotors are going to be going in matter of min's too. it is just painted to help the brake pads settle into the rotor.
i think i will improve braking power in my car because i'm going to a bigger braking surface in the front and the back, where i was at a 4 piston braking in the front now i will be at a 6 piston, increasing the surface of braking on the rotor, will indeed improve the braking power i agree it may not be a really big significant increases but non the less it will be an increases and with the 2 part rotor i will no longer have any heat transfer, thus always have the ultimate temperature to ideal braking power. where the braking power of the car will stay constant longer. not like currently where the braking power starts to fade as they get hotter and hotter.

actually some heat trasfer is good. now your rotor no longer heat sinks to the hats and then to the wheel. your rotor temps will be higher (disregarding the effects of it's added mass)
if you're losing braking power as your temps increase you have a problem with your pads and or fluid.
anyway....all this said i wish i was the one who was about to install these on his car.

and i have noticed my car loosing braking power on the highways from high speed braking. so it was an up grade that i was going to get no matter what, and now if i ever increases the power of my car i will not have to worry about stopping. ya I can bring them along to the next meet so u can take a look at them.

If your stock C32 brakes were losing braking power on high speed braking, then you had a mechanical problem. Any street use is wll within C32 brake capabilities. No doubt, there are LOTS of reasons to get big brakes, including pure aesthetics. But not to solve a problem with C32 OEM brakes.

Are these "wider" than the C32 brakes at all or just significantly taller? I shy away from this only because I'm not sure they'll fit my 18" LMs...but I see you've got 18" AMGs as well.
Looks awesome!

As close as your calipers are to your spokes, you should definitely be concerned about fitment.

Not necessarily. Offset is one part of the equation...spoke design and thickness is the other. With 30ET up front, Jose has about a credit card thick space between the C32 brakes and his spokes.
