Just thought i would share some pic of the new brakes i just picked up from Sunil.
I will be installing them soon, as soon as i burn through the current set of brakes.
the fronts look like:

can't wait to see how they will perform.

Those are some truly beautiful parts. Don’t know just how heavy they are, nor do I really care…
Only wish I had ‘em! We anticipate your thorough report, Harry.

Harry, you will not stop any faster. if the fronts are any lighter then you will feel a small improvement in handling due to reduction in unsprung mass.
ALL passenger vehicles have the capability of locking front brakes with sufficient pedal pressure. max retard is just before lockup (threshold of abs intervention). basically the only way to shorten stopping distances is to increase friction tween tire and road.
there is a whole other area of pedal feel , ability to modulate etc....that is almost entirely disconnected from ulitmate braking perfromance. i would be curious to see if the 030 hardware is better than the stck setup in this regard.
don't mean to rain on your parade - that's some magnificent hardware. i would buy them too- but because i track my car i would roast the silver finish to gold in 20 mins.

I dont think i need new mages to make these brakes fit, they should fit over my AMG mags with out a problem, it will just be a tight fit.
agreed, but the current brakes on my car are at the bottom end and are about to start squeaking, so when i sell the C32 brakes i will only be selling the calipers and nothing else.

thx i did not know that these brakes were lighter then the C32, i think the calipers may be lighter but the rotors are for sure heaver.

the rotors are definitely lighter, they are 2-piece versus the C32 1-piece rotor.

i think i will improve braking power in my car because i'm going to a bigger braking surface in the front and the back, where i was at a 4 piston braking in the front now i will be at a 6 piston, increasing the surface of braking on the rotor, will indeed improve the braking power i agree it may not be a really big significant increases but non the less it will be an increases and with the 2 part rotor i will no longer have any heat transfer, thus always have the ultimate temperature to ideal braking power. where the braking power of the car will stay constant longer. not like currently where the braking power starts to fade as they get hotter and hotter.

the silver finish on the rotors are going to be going in matter of min's too. it is just painted to help the brake pads settle into the rotor.
