Rotors
What are you using for replacement rotors for your C55 or C32? I understand the stock rotor is Brembo, but I haven't been able to find these rotors from sources other than the dealer.

I used Zimmerman rotors. I can't recall where I found them -- somewhere online. Very good quality.

Sorry. I do not have a part number. Yes, used at the track with no problems. I had Zimms on my Audi too. Good stuff.

Update:
Wednesday I received packages. Rotors look identical to OEM- good news, pads are ceramics have no idea who makes them but box looks nice.
Price has changed to $420. I changed order in meantime from semimetalic to ceramic pads. Still it is bargain. Will put them on this Saturday- I hope.

I've found a number of sites that handle Zimmerman rotors but none for the C55. I found one site that with an aftermarket crossdrilled and slotted rotor, DiscItalia, for $525. The same site, Brakeworld, advertises Zimmerman but did not show it for the C55. I'm still looking.

In fact, someone here said the 2007 C350 has the same rotors. If true, there should be plenty of aftermarket sources.

I finally found a site that lists them for the C55. Germaninportedparts.com. Part Number 203-421-0912ZIMM. Cost for two front rotors $201.96 with free UPS shipping. They said it is same thing as already being installed on Mercedes. I ordered them, so we will see what we get.

Hi,
Just searching for rotors for my c32 brakes front and rear...
I was looking for 2 piece front rotors since they are ligther and some drilled rear rotors, any clue where to find them?!
I searched but so many info and I'm confused!
I looked on Brembo, ATE, APracing and Zimmerman websites but nothing I'm looking for...

a quarter mile at a time
I would call up those sites and press them on it. Zimmerman does make C32 rotors, and they are the same as C55 rotors. Lots of online sites have faulty inventory searches.

yesterday I spent all day searching pads and rotors
from the RED STUFF, to the Stop Tech and other brands in between... Ceramic, semi metalic.. ect.
what is the best place to get pads these days?
OEMparts.com has them for $80 w shipping
some post say the dealer has them for $100
I know other brands have them cheaper...
I don't plan to keep the car, I just need to have pads changed to erase the "brake wear" code.
At this point, the convenience to pick them up at the dealer is worth $20 bucks, compared to ordering them.

I decided on Kragen autoparts
got some semi metallic for $67 for the fronts.
my mechanic charged me only $35 to install.
I did not buy the sensor.
Anybody know if I can clear the sensor warning or I need a new sensor?
My display still reads "brake pad wear"
