Carbon Fiber Spoiler

I was about to purchase the OEM spoiler until I came across this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCE...ayphotohosting

What do you guys think?

EDIT: I just re-read my sentence and it made no sense. Apologies, it's late haha.

That spoiler actually looks pretty good!

I'd say go for it.

02 C32 AMG sold!
If your car looks white or silver (or any lighter color) it would look nice.

Also if you were to get it, you'd have to get up close to see the CF trimming.
And due to where we live, if anyone is too close to your car is either blind or
getting ready to yank off your spoiler.

I for one can't stand modding a car for anyone to look at. Just makes me
nervous anyone envying my car if it looks nice to them.

Never like the style of Carlsson spoiler; why does it come down so much on the sides; the lines don't even line up with anything on the car. I'll suggest AMG spoiler in CF.

+1

There was a listing for a CF spoiler on ebay recently and it had a picture of the AMG style spoiler, but painted body color. We all assumed that it was the amg style and they just didn't have the pic of it out of the box. But, when I emailed them, sure enough, the spoiler was also carlsson style...so, i like the amg-style CF spoiler too, but im not sure if they even make it.

You are absolutely right, however I was planning on keeping the 32 in the garage a lot more and have it as a weekend car. In August I plan to build a Supra powered Nissan 240SX (S14). I plan that to be my daily driver

So for now I had just ordered the 2005 lighting package (w/Bi-Xenons) from MBenzNL and my HREs should be here in a month. With that I would only need a spoiler and I would just leave the cars exterior like that. I still plan on getting the Renntech pulley and ECU but maybe after I'm done with the 240SX.

Yea, I live in Graham apartments right behind Ruby Tuesdays on Main Street.

We Miami Benz lovers need to get together sometime I'm really dying to see some of your vehicles.

P.S. Thank you for the excellent feedback, I'll stick with the OEM. For the price however $380 for an unpainted spoiler is a bit steep. Should I go for a replica?

I thought so, my car is there all the time parked on the street as my buddy lives there. We are planning a photo op soon. There's three or four of us so far locally. PM me for details and who's who.

There'll be something this Friday here:

https://mbworld.org/forums/events-gatherings/195837-fort-lauderdale-florida-friday-june-1st.html

And as far as the suspension I have H&R Coilovers. It's the best ride I could ever ask for. Well worth the money.
