i dont have an amg sadly
i have w203 c240. do you guys think it would make it sound better or would there be too much drone? i just haaaaaate how even at WOT it just sounds weak. i mean, i know its 240 so its not a powerful car, but the exhaust should sound better than that for a v6.
thanks guyss

well removing the resonator isn't going to make it sound weaker that's for sure. I would be afraid of a ricer like sound but then again the GTR is a 6 cylinder and it sounds pretty beefy, I would do it but remember removing the resonator isn't going to give you that V8 rumble..... adding a couple more cylinders will though

yeah, thats exactly what i dont want. i hate that ricer-y sound. i'd rather stab my ears repeatedly with a kbar knife. that why i was thinking of an aftermarket resonator.

Well put.... Before you go out and buy one cut the one you have off, you can always weld a new resonator back in. You might get the sound you want just by removing the stock resonator.
