Octane Booster?
Just got a c32 and the previous owner lived out in NY. Coming from the East Coast myself, when I originally moved to Vegas, my 3000 GT SL had a hard transition going from 93 octane to 91 which is all that is available out here. My question is, should I run an octane booster in my c32, and will it improve performance/longevity? And if so, which one do you recommend? Is one brand of 91 octane better than the next?

My C32 runs on California 91 all the time, without any problems (yet). I have a couple of cans of octane boost in my trunk for times that I can't put a decent premium in the tank.
As to the brands, most west coast gas comes from a very few refineries. Odds are that there is very little difference between gasses. I play it safe by running Shell with some occasional Chevron. I have also had good luck when I've run Costco gas.

Thanks for the reply, however if it is used to 93 octane, will running 91 octane have an adverse effect? Would adding an octane booster improve performance at least or could it have a negative effect?

Dude, a car doesn't get "used" to 93 vs. 91 octane. The ECU will adapt to the octane levels and retard or advance the timing to keep the performance levels equal. If you read the inside of the gas cap cover, you will see that MB recommends running 91 or better. Just relax and run the premium you can get.
