I've never heard of Harry's second method, nor would I ever attempt that method. It doesn't make any sense to me how or why MB would design that into the programming of the ECU.

Stick with the 4 step for a safe, easy way to reset the ECU any time you want to "re-new" your car.

I THINK THERE IS SOMETHING POSSIBLY WRONG. IN STOCK FORM ITS HARD TO NOT SPIN IF THE THROTTLE IS PUSHED TOO MUCH. HAVE IT CHECKED AND IF YOU COME UP WITH AN ANSWER I AM SURE JGSX WOULDN'T MIND TRYING IT. THEN AGAIN MAYBE ITS CONTROLLED AT LAUNCH FOR BETTER LAUNCH AND 60' AND QUARTER TIMES.....IDK.

haha i drive a 05 c230k and if i drive the car kind of hard i have no problem spinning the wheels but i would get shut down soon by the ESP even though its off
