Ben from Evosport who owns the CLK43k has the resonator installed. He has all sorts of custom stuff on his car, including exhaust. I don't think it would be too much on a normal CLK430.

I meant to say removed, not installed .

Keep in mind, he has a Kleemann Supercharger and just about every other modification out there, so it won't sound remotely close to yours.

yeah, which is good, as long as his isnt too loud for my tastes, i know mine will be quieter...

once again I grabbed a old old thread out of the dark..

All the videoclips of C32 w/o reasonators have been deleted. Could anyone please post such a sound/video clip again? Would be very nice of you

frank it does not sound ricey at all, it has a deeper sound thats all..stock C32's sound weak..

damn i just deleted the 2 vids of the red c32 without the res like a week ago (forgot who's it was) but as soon as the stainless pipes come in i'll post up a little vid in a few days

doh i tried clickin on the links to the mpgs but they dont seem to work for me..I get a "page not found" or something..

Who's doing the work for you in Houston? I want to do this mod, but I don't know of a shop that does quality work. Maybe we can meet up sometime. I'd love to hear the car without the resonator in person and check out the exhaust work you've done.
