CLK55 AMG wheels on a C32
Hi guys,
I am thinking of picking up some 18'' OEM CLK55 AMG wheels to replace my stock 17s. I see a few members here have done this and am just wondering if there were any issues associated with the offset, fit, spacers required etc. My C32 is slightly lowered with Vogtland Springs. I was going to run with a tire width of 255 in the back and 225 in the front.
The rim specs are:
Front: 18x7.5
Rear: 18x8.5
Bolt Pattern: 5x112
I am not 100% about the offset

The offset is printed on the back of each rim.
ET = xx
Check the back of the rims.

Thanks everyone! I've always liked the look of the stock C32s but thought they were too small. The C55/CLK55s look perfect to me - not too overbearing and very classy.

CLK55 wheels are not the same as C55 wheels, but they will work just fine. I'm using CLK55 wheels with Bilstien PSS9 with Toyo tires in the same width as you are thinking of using.

You can only tell by having them next to each other though.

I have the CLK55 wheels...
no issues at all.
I have renntech springs.
1 rear wheel is bent from a flat tire incident with my sister in law.
The reason I know they were CLK55, i bought them with the stock OEM tires and they were 255/35/18 on the rears. Later I upgraded to Mich PS.

CLK55 wheels give you a "wider stance" only on the rear.
Front 18x7.5" = ET37
Rear 18x8.5" = ET30

Best choice would be to run CLK55 rear wheels all the way around. Then you would have 8.5" wheels with offsets tailored for best handling.
Currently I run 10mm spacers on the front of my C55's stock 18x7.5's to give me a 20mm wider track (effectively making my wheels ET20) and it helps to reduce understeer, along with 235's, 0 toe in & more negative camber.
