ASP Pullies

Okay guys, Does anyone have the ASP Pullies?

I am going to buy them this week, and was wondering if anyone has either dyno info, or has done some runs with them before and after.

I have a G-tech and will do it after they are on, but I was hoping for some more info. I am guessing they should give about 35hp/tq as they raise the boost about 3 pounds.

Any info would be appreciated!!!

THANKS

See yeah

Am I correct in saying that 20 rwhp = (very roughly) about 25 engine hp (bhp, right?)

If so, then ASP pullies get you 25 hp, but a Stage I kit (ECU + Pulley) gets you closer to 50 hp... seems like a big difference; I suppose that suggests ECU tuning is critical for peak performance of a modified 3.2K engine...?

I'm sure the ECU tuning helps and I will probably consider that next (Or headers then ECU). I have driven a C32 with the Evo pulley kit (No software) and drive mine everyday with the ASP pullies (No software). Both cars pull harder than stock. Did I notice that one car felt stronger than the other? No. I don't think it's absolutely necessary to have an ECU tune but its probably a good idea. Depends on how much money you want to spend at once I guess. For bang for buck the pulley kit on its own (Any brand) is hard to beat....

Question, you guys with ECU and Pulley upgrades... do you guys have warranty on your cars?

I'm about to pay a little over $3k for an extended warranty and I'm wondering if I could still get those mods. The warranty is with a company CNA, and I'm buying it through Mercedes... so Mercedes will still service the car, only that CNA will pay the bill.

Ideas? Thx.... btw, sorry for high-jacking. I'm just interested in this thread too.

I had pullies on both on my AMG at one point. Both without ECU.

The gains with the ECU is only about 10 to 15 RWHP, not really a big difference.

However I can say, that ASP's produce more PSI and therefore ASP alone will provide more RWHP and RWTQ than the EVO, renntech or kleemann pullies alone.

If you want the best bang for the buck..

ASP pullies, Sprint Booster, No resonator, green filters and cooler plugs. If you want more power, start looking into the 335i or used E55.
