Looks good, I'm in search of a set myself since my C55 wheels did not have enough clearance for the 030 brakes. As for the C55 performance package bumper, you can forget about that. I spent alot of times tracking down that part number and still cant find it. The CLK63 bumper should be an easier task but would likely cost a little bit more since you have to order the fog lights as well.

Why don't your stock C55 rims fit with the 030 brakes, I did the 030 brakes on all 4 wheels. It is extremely tight, but there isn't a clearance problem.

And, those rims look absolutely incredible.

damn! I've seen it offered by another site (very reputable) for less:
http://www.k1motorsport.com/mb/wheels.htm
(I've heard their prices are cheaper than what they advertise if you haggle with them )

Wow! Gotta give you the high five. You dropped some coin on those, and the look is amazing. Great job.

for some reason, the AMG embossed logo on the calipers body woud rub against the highest point of the wheel barrel. It was fine when we mounted the wheels but after I drove around to bed in the brakes (getting it hot), I noticed that it rubbed slightly when we took off the wheels.

Wow, what a thread revival. I guess some of you didn't catch the thread the first time in the summer of 2007.

Thanks again for the compliments. Wow, K1motorsport sure has a pretty good deal on these rims.......didn't have any choice when I bought the CLK63 rims so I had to get them from Mercedes Benz Canada directly, which of course was/is quite expensive. Now with the Canadian dollar almost at par with the USD, importing from a US dealer makes it much cheaper too.

Anyways, looking at these pictures now makes me miss these rims. I currently have 17" rims with snow tires now. Here are 2 slightly newer pics from the fall 2007 when I also changed my stock grill to the 2005 CLK grill.

Fantastic looking!

Wow,the wheel color and your car color are unbelievable together, looks great! BTW, where did you get the 4 slat CLK grill? I was going to buy the 3 slat, but now that I see your 4 slat I may consider depending on price.

I bet it handles much better having that 8" v. 7.5" up front right?

I got the pre-facelift 2005 CLK grille from NORTH 44 C55 (a member here on mbworld) as part of a "private transaction".......I still owe him a nice dinner.

You know, I really had some reservations about the CLK grille when I first saw it on my car. Now, I must admit that the look is growing on me......maybe it's because I see more and more MB cars with big stars on the grille (like the W204 C-class).

I honestly can't tell on everyday streets. The tires I'm using have the same width (225) as before, so I don't really expect any major differences in handling.

I've never taken these rims to the track. This upgrade was purely for "cosmetic" purposes. In fact, my stock rims have become my track rims.
