Okay I got to play around today before going to work, and yes
too lazy to get the boost guage installed. But here's what
tinkers, look at idle making 7.8psi & when WOT making 27.8psi?
Anyone located in South Florida that has a boost guage that
wants to try it out? Gonna try it on my EVO tonight later when
I get out of work...

Absolute Pressure at sea level is 14.7. Anything above 14.7 is boost, and below is vacuum. Boost gauges measure the manifold pressure relative to atmospheric pressure, and thus are measuring Gauge Pressure. You carchip is measuring intake manifold pressure.
