Oil Change

I have search the forums from C32 to SLK32. My first question is where do I find the tube for the dip stick? I ve read that it is located behind the engine next to the firewall. I looked at it and I dont think thats for the motor, it looks like thats for teh transmission. There is another possibility the one on the top of the motor behind the supercharger? could this be the one? I would aprreciate any help.
Can I buy a SLK32 dip stick and use it? (My guess is yes because the same motor) I just want to confirm with the pro's.

Here is my experience with C55 on-board (OB) oil level measurement:

• Drained oil through both oil pan drain plugs and replaced filter
• Added 6 quarts oil to engine
• OB indicated – add two more quarts
• Added one more quart of oil
• OB indicated – add one more quart – cool so far
• Added one more quart – 8 quarts total.
• OB indicated – OK
• Started and shut-down engine
• Checked with dipstick and was one quart lower than max fill. 164 mm on C55.

The car requires 9 quarts, which was verified with dipstick. I like to run at max fill to increase residence time of lube oil in the pan.

Thats is the part number for a SLK32 so I would say it should fit same motor.

I bought it, but the weird thing is I tried to insert teh dip stick and it didnt not even touch the oil, does this mean i have no oil in my car?

Can somebody confirm that the oil dipstick for c32 and slk32 is the same?
