C32 vs C55 Transmission

C32 vs C55 Transmission
As you all have seen, the C32’s transmission has somewhat of a poor reputation of failing due to fluid contamination. As some have had the horror of dealing with a failed transmission and going through the challenge of having their warranty company pay for a transmission replacement, this all sounds like a horrible experience and has me somewhat worried. Does the C55 transmission run the same risk as the C32? If so, what measures should be taken to avoid contamination. Should the trans fluid be routinely checked for contamination?

the valeo rad in the 2002s were the prob. tons of info on this site search terms "valeo" and "glycol"
c32/c55 both use same tranny...actually it's the same as in the w211 e55. a very robust unit rated to handle 700+ ft lbs of torque.
i've done 70,000 miles plus 19 track days no probs. i changed my rad this yr.
