Wow seems strange that MBZ put a mech fan on some C55's and not on others. I have an early build C55 (bought it when they first arrived here over 3 yrs ago) and it does NOT have the mech fan. Just a big friggin electric puller that sounds like a jet taking off when it's on high.

2006 C55 AMG, 2.8L Quattro, Softail Nostalgia 1550 (Stage III), Sporster (slammed)
Published curb weights are 3450 vs. 3650 (I just found this new published number) or about 200 lbs. That doesn't sound right though as I read there was a 250 lbs difference. I need to do more fact checking.
