Exclamation Function or Failure? Power Windows
My warranty is almost up. I'm at 49,990 miles, and I'm not sure if what my car does is as designed, or a partial failure. I'm the second owner of my car, and this has been the way the car acted since I had it so I don't know if this is as designed.

I was in my car, and I discovered that the sunroof will continue to function (open/close) after the car is turned off, and the key removed. This makes sense, but from the beginning I would have expected the power windows to act the same way. They do not, and never have. Is that right? Only the sunroof will function after the key is removed, but the power windows will not? Or is this a failure of some sort for the power windows?

Thanks in advance for any ideas on this one.

My windows don't work either. I just use the key control from outside if I forget to close them though, no biggie.

Just checked mine, windows or sunroof do not work w/ key removed from ignition.

This could be an '02 versus '03 difference... Either way the window functionality would be much more useful than sunroof.
