2003 model vents
Did they remove the vent knob on the top dash and between the two vents above the radio on the 2003 C32 ? I know they removed it on the lower priced c-class models but I would have thought they would have left it on the C32. The additional control you get with these knobs is worth it.

What is the necessity of the center climate knob anyway? If say, in the winter you feel too warm due to the high temp setting, wouldn't you simply lower the temp a few degrees? Why going thru this extra knob? Someone enlighten me plz.

As far as I can tell, it directs the air from the front vents to come up from the vent on the dashboard instead, thus giving you indirect air. It helps give the illusion that it is really like your home A/C.
