How to totally disable ESP
It sounds like when you shut off ESP the system still partly functions. I think it is the brakes. I know in my BMW when I turned of my DCS it would still apply brakes if it sensed the tires loosing grip. By holding the button in for 10 sec's it would total disable everything.
Will that work on the C32 also?

Even with ESP shut off when you mash the gas you can still feel some system working. Almost like when the tires loose tracations the brakes are being applied.
Maybe the dyno mod will cut both the trac and the braking.
Thanks

That will shut it of but I just hit ESP off to do my drag runs it was sufficient.

no, the LSD will spin both wheels, that is what it is designed to do...the ESP system on the C32 is designed to mimick a true LSD, which is why only one wheel spins when you put the car in dyno mode...

Just to re cap if you put the car in Dyno Mode and you drive it hard from a stop you will get one wheel spinning and the other systems like ABS and BAS will not engage.
Now if you have LSD and put it in Dyno mode you will still get both wheels spinning and other systems are shut off.
Now with ESP off you will get LSD but the BAS and ABS will still engage when the tires loss traction.
So if you want true LSD at all times and not other systems kicking in to slow you down you need to do the LSD upgrade and put the car in Dyno mode.
These are more questions than statements. Correct me if I am wrong I do not want to lead anyone in the wrong direction since I am new here.

Do you have an LSD? If you did, it WOULD make you faster at the track. No ESP to apply the brakes or torque managment and no one wheel peel. Just all the power applied to both wheels.

a quarter mile at a time
uh no. nothing replaces a mechanical LSD. Dyno mode is simply a way to disable all electronic aids, which is only good for 2 things. Making big clouds of smoke and if you want to actually put your car on a dyno.

just to clarify one point here...if you have a LSD with crappy tires in DYNO MODE, you will still not be able to put the power down completely and it will be a complete waste of money...

i don't have an LSD and i run Nitto INVO's (which are my street tires) at the track with 25psi in the tires and i never spin...it hooks great out of the hole even stepping on the gas while holding the brake at 1500rpm's from a dead stop...i am also puttin down 346 rwtq, which is more than most C32's on this board...torque is what causes the wheel spin off the line...
my point: spend the money on good tires before you drop $2-3k on a LSD...

I don't see how you guys get by without an LSD. Sure, tires made a HUGE difference, but even with nice rubber, without an LSD I was not able to lay my power down below 30mph. ESP would take away the fun EVERY time. I usually mash the pedal from a slow roll, and that just wasn't going to happen with an open diff.
