Moving from a C32 to a C55

Hey guys,

(Sorry, I accidentally posted this in the for sale section too. Didn't mean to.)

I have decided to make the change over from a C32 to a C55. Here is the info on my C55. I found a 2006 with less than 9k miles on it. The dang shipper is going to take 10 days to deliver it though. Arrrgggg!!

http://euromotorcars.ebizautos.com/d...px?iid=2280849

I am also now selling my 2004 C32. It has a lot of options including Nav, bluetooth phone (aftermarket), parktronic (aftermarket), voice komand, 6-disk cd changer. If anyone is interested here is a link to the FS post.

https://mbworld.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=216544

I am now going to go and read a bunch of the C55 posts

43K. Probably a little high but it had every option I was looking for and less than 9k miles on it.

What do you think?

Your links are broken... Just a heads up.

Let us know what you think of the switch... do a write up after a week or so with the new C... I know a few people would love to hear what you have to say.

Thanks. I don't know why the site did that to the links. It put the "..." in the links and use that as the URL.

I also was not able to edit that post. Anyone know why?

Here is a repost with the links corrected. Hopefully it works this time.

Also, I will definately post my impressions between the two. I can't wait to get the C55.

I also got it from a dealer so it has the 100,000 mile warrenty and the extra year. I could have gotten it for about a grand less if I had chosen not to have the extra warrenty. I put 40 miles per day on the car just going back and forth to work. I figured the extra miles was worth it.

Slowrey where did you buy your car in May? I bought mine from Georgetown MB in late March. There weren't many left in the state then. You may have seen my car if you were looking back then.

its a good move..

the C55 seems more trouble free than the bug infested C32..

but something about the boosted engine that is very unique.. specially with a Pulley kit.

I miss having the extra boost on my C32...

I must have gotten lucky. The only issue that I ever had with my C32 was an appearance of a power drain. They replaced the Catalytic converters and all was well. I have had no other issues of any type.

I was looking around the state, Jan - March and there were two white cars sitting in inventory of all the dealers I could find. Made an offer up here (Fort Worth) - they passed. 3 weeks later the one in Georgetown was still sittting there and I offered $45K - thinking, naaa they won't take it. MSRP was $60 + change. It has everything except Satellite. About 5 days went by and they called and said come get it.

I've been in love ever since. She sits in the garage about 4 days a week. 3300 miles so far. I am going to keep the milage low for the first 2 years.

Tires....are going to be a problem...

Man, That's a better deal than the one I got. How many miles did it have on it to begin with?

Mine has 8700 miles on it. But it does have the Nav. I paid $43K. Hmmm.....

^Thats crazy, I would have just kept my c32 then to upgrade to c55 why not e55, s55 or something else of a different body type then w203 ? I paid 25.5K for my 04 C32 CPOed with 22K miles all options no NAV ,which in my is a good deal. The car been sitting on the MB lot for 4 months lol. I plan on switchin to Jaguar S-Type R in 2 weeks once I sell my c32. Long as your happy paying 43K for the same body w203 but its a c55 then Im happy for you. But me I dont get the same body styles when I sell my car, I like something different from what I had. Thats just food for thought.
