Car pulls to the right

When I am driving the car tends to pull to the right. If I let my hands up off the steering wheel the car pulls immeaditely to the right.

Does it sound like I need a front end alignment?

mines like that too, but you don't need to worry too much. IMO, this is only caused by slightly slanted road surface that can not be judged by our eyes.

C32 AMG - in Pewter
Definitely check you tire pressure (32 front, 35 rear). Mine was pulling quite a bit until I corrected pressure. With cooler weather pressure drops, so this correction is required. On my other car, there is not much difference if pressure drops, perhaps it has to do with the low profile tires.

If that does not help, do wheel alignment.

I also used to have a Honda that went into an accident and I had tires changed at the time of repair. Car started to pull right, nothing helped, including alignment. I thought it is from the accident. Then I changed tires a few years later - pull was gone completely. So tires were crappy for sure.

As stated, check the tire pressures... I went to the dealer with the same problem on a BRAND NEW C-350 and they told me the alignment was fine....

I ended up driving on some newly paved roads and realized it was just the crown in the road...

If the stealer will do an alignemnt check for free, I would have it done.

Good luck

Thanks I will check the pressure. I was going to say this morning it felt like the front left tire was loose. When I got out I looked at the tire and it appears to be low. I will fill today and post back.

Thanks

Make sure that your wheels and tires are balanced. That would be my next step. You never know when a weight fell off your wheel.

Hey I been told if it starts anywhere near 60 M.P.H. and up thats its your wheel balance. So check or have checked your rims for possible damage but for sure get your wheels balanced...maybe your tires are close to requiring to be changed so ask the shop to check the life of your tire before a balance cause with new tires a balance would get done anyways.

tires where low. I added 32 front 35 rear. It helped but did not take it away totally. I will have the dealer take a look and see what they think?

Good luck

Also make sure the car isn't just following the crown in the road.. Try it in multiple areas to make sure its pulling.....

I argued and argued with the stealer, i really did think it was pulling.. Then after they showed me it was in spec, I checked it on some different roads and realized our FL roads suck!

Mercedes should not pull on crowned roads. Thats what Model A's did. The cars of today are better than that. Tell your dealer you want a new car to drive like one. Not one 70 years old.
