20x8.5 20x10 on C55?
Hey was going on guys do you know if 20's would fit on a C55?
20x10 or evan 20x9.5 in the rear? with no drop? and whats the bigest in the front that can be be done?.. has any one ever did 20 on a c55? i know 19x10 in rear was done. you insight thanks -blackroof

it can be done, another c-class owner has done it, but it was slammed to hell. You own an AMG, that other car was not very tasteful looking, but yours is a very desirable car as is. Besides it would be very dangerous to run a more narrow tire than stock, just so you can fit 20's on an AMG. Your ESP will activate on every turn! And if you leave it off you'll probably roast the tires to shreds! Besides 20'' tires are not so cheap to replace so often, nor are the rims any fun to deal with when they cause vibrations (and they WILL get dented).

Don't do it! 19" wheels are perfect for the C55. Anything above that is overkill. You'll also lose performance and have rubbing issues.

BTW I am running a 275 width BFG KDW-2 on 19's in the rear, and I still loose traction throughout first and sometimes second gear. I'm thinking of trying a set of Falken RT615 next, looks like a good contact patch. Any tire suggestions to hold down the power besides R compounds?
