Oil Grade and brand???
Ok so I have been reading many threads and have attained some info on different oils. This spring I am planning to change the oil but looking for alternatives to Mobil 0W40.

First I am not interested in Royal Purple!!!Will not be heading to the drag strip ....

With my 2002 C32 manual it states 229.1 and 229.3...Is 229.5 a new standard and what is the difference.

2nd I like the temperature range with Mobil 0w40 especially for cold starts. But interested in Elf oil and Liquid Moly... What grades of these oils are similar to the Mobile 0W40??
