Leaky corner lenses??
Ok, I have two little fish bowls for corner lights and cuts juice to the bulbs. I can't figure out how the water is getting in there. I've even replaced the lenses with clears and have the same problem. I'm wondering if its getting in at the bulb holder?? Another idea is to drill a few small holes at the bottom of the lense base to allow the water to drip out.

if they are the same as the stock '06 C230- you are welcome to have mine for the cost of shipping. they were on for about 4k miles, then swapped out for clears. i don't think they leak- but the car has never seen rain/snow. no water in them when i would finish washing the car though.

Thanks for the offer, the C55 uses the CLK corner lights. I'll do some tests with my originals to see where the water is coming in from. If its not the seam, then its got to be coming from where the O ring on the bulb base meets the socket opening.

Yes... Warranty item. Dealer has been replacing the complete Corner Light Assembly due to corrosion. Its happened again on the passenger side. Going in next week for a B service and they are replacing it again.
