I'd check with Jerry or Erick from LET for any DIY instructions. I've been discussing this w/ Jerry recently as well - everyone who's done it says it's about a 5 hour job; however, my understanding is that the engine does NOT need to be lifted when changing the headers on the C32. The SLK32 is a different story, IIRC.
Good luck w/ your install!
My LET headers have been doing their duty for the past two weeks. I couldn’t be more pleased with their performance or the upstanding gentlemen behind them. They perform admirably. The OE manifolds are truly the bottleneck in our otherwise solid exhaust system.
Please keep us updated on your already stout machine.
Most importantly, thank you for your service. Stay safe and keep in touch.
We will expect a full report on your Autobahn adventures…security clearance permitting.
Thanks
I have an exhaust leak after installing the Evosport headers. I believe its coming from the passenger side downpipe where the headers connect to the exhaust pipe in front of the first set of cats. Ive replaced the header gaskets twice on this side so I am ruling that out. I can smell exhaust from the top of the engine bay on this side only....plus it makes the famous exhaust leak sound. I blocked the exhaust tips with rags but didnt notice any evidence of where the leak was coming from. Shouldnt there be a gasket in-between the downpipe and exhaust piping? The piping in this area doesnt seem to match up very well with the headers with only about 2 MM of seal between the two. Any suggestion?
