I am going to hit the dyno but unfortunatly I have no way to isolate the cams. I had the ECU tuned for the cams and a couple of other things done between my last dyno and the cam install.

"Lumpy" yes, "rough" maybe, and this is where changing cam profiles is a VERY "personal-taste" type of mod - which most mods are, but this one perhaps more than most. To one, that (those) clip(s) may sound like a "rough, lumpy idle" and might certainly make a layperson inquire if something is wrong with the car. To someone else, the exact same clip(s) may sound like music to their ears, because it sounds like a mean, purposeful high-performance sports car... impatiently waiting to get up into the powerband
I'd hazard a guess that some passengers who heard a high-pitch S/C whine because of modded pullies might also wonder if something was "wrong" with the car - or hear a res-deleted C32 at WOT and ask "is something wrong with the exhaust?"
Frankly, this is what happens when trying to compromise between luxury and performance, which is something that every AMG model does, to one degree or another (special editions like CLK GTR are an exception, of course). To each his/her own, I suppose... which kinda goes with any and every mod.

I believe C32used started a thread awhile back, trying to formalize the stages a bit, you should search for it. To answer your question directly, Stage I is generally considered to be modded pulley + ECU tune. Stage II is generally considered to be Stage I + headers. Stage I cars tend to make somewhere around 390-400 crank hp, Stage II cars tend to make somewhere around 425-435 crank hp. These're both fairly rough estimates, YMMV.

I don't think cams do rock the idle of the car enough to create worries.
With the cams, the engine and exhaust wont scream, unless you have an exhaust straight all the way down, you might hear it. The sound you hear from most youtube vids is louder than actual.
Mine has header and res off, you can hardly tell during a warm start.
So I really doubt all claims, worries about making the car "cheap", "something s wrong" or whatever from installing the cams.

My idle is ok....but the wifey does ask what is wrong sometimes. I agree with JGSX that it cheapens the feel of the car.
However, it's something I will live with.

That's all I was getting at. All the other performance mods I did on the car were transparent to others, even when they drove the car. Of course there was the increased power, but even that wasn't out of place since it's an AMG.

You are on spot. The cams unlike a majority of the other mods may not be transparent. Those running Kleeman and RENNTech cams (which I believe are the same as the Schrick cams) that have raised their idle speed seem to have a transparent mod. With my current setup the cams are obvious unlike pulleys.
