C32 Star DAS How-to
I have had the pleasure of playing with a STAR DAS machine for the past week. I took some time to get to know the system as well as make changes to my car that the dealer wouldn't do. Here is the how-to for a couple of these changes.
Just print these pictures out in order and bring them to your local shop.
-10 Degree Fan Mod
Once the Star DAS is on and ready to go, run the software and choose "Cars".

Jerry, that is very impressive
and thanks for the well written tutorial with pictures, it really helps
Would the procedure be the same for the E55 except choosing the different model?
I can't imagine the face of the technician when I hand him a tutorial on how to do a specific job

Outstanding post, AMG-Jerry. Thanks for sharing.
Mine has the fan mod, Netherlands setting, and an 86’d seat belt reminder. They merely make the car that much more pleasant to drive and operate. I always wear the belt when underway, just not when maneuvering around the driveway and garage…so don’t be hatin’.
Can I fly you out for some more tweaks and an ECU tune?!

AMG-Jerry, is it possible to do the exact same tutorial but for clearing all transmission adaptation? I know you could do the ECU re-set, but it still does not work the same as when the dealer physically clears the adaptation using the machine.
