I was driving today and noticed that my SC was not engaging at times (again) I already replaced the IC pump last year. However I was at a light and the car started shaking like it was going to stall and the rpm needle started bouncing like when you play with the gas pedal. Any ideas??? Torque converter??

I had a similar problem with the S2000, it was the throttle body. I'd have the dealer check it out.

Happened to me once and then it never happened again. I asked my service advisor to have it checked out and they couldn't find anything much less replicated the problem. He was thinking that I may have gotten some bad gas. He said some thing about the gas being changed from winter to summer gas or gas that has been sitting too long at the gas station may have accumulated water. I haven't had a problem since, hopefully every thing is ok.

It did not happen ever since, I've put a couple of hundred miles since the incident and can't replicate the issue other then the IC pump which I'll replace soon.
