LSD install ... Thanks Vadim!!!
Got my Quaife LSD installed by Vadim & it rocks! He did the job in the time alotted & in budget. Heck, I even got a ride to the airport so I could torture Pirelli's at the AMG Challenge.
Initial LSD impressions:
I still can't just mash the throttle & hook-up, but I get alot less yellow triangle intervention throughout the RPM range. Has got be worth a car length or two depending on the surface.
The tail is more predictable w/ less chance of over-rotating & better hook-up after the tail comes back inline ... but I really need to hit an autoX course to explore the limits. It will make a big difference.
I do feel more engine braking when I lift off the throttle.
Other than that, you wouldn't know the LSD was there. No noise or poor handling.
Overall ... this is the way this car should have been delivered from the factory.

I'm so happy to see so many W203 owners finally getting LSDs installed. For the longest time, I was one of only a couple of Quaife evangelists. Now, you all can see why it was my favorite mod (even more than pulleys/ecu/headers)!

I'm joining you brother!
I know we exchanged posts on this topic a while ago.
Your insightful repsonses helped me know it was a great thing to do ... I just didn't want to pay for a $2000 ($1850+tax) LSD at the time. The LET GP w/ out tax definitely pushed me over the edge plus Vadim's install was reasonable.
For those that missed the LSD GP, Vadim has pretty competative LSD prices as well!
I just need more seat time!
