we are proud to release these new cams!
We have them available for the C32 and the C55...
power gains should be in the 15-25hp range depending on the vehicle, mods, etc...
these will require tuning in order to take advantage of the extra air flow...
pricing: retail $2,500.00
Introductory $2,000.00
we have 5 sets being produced, the introductory pricing will be for these first five sets...
specs forth coming...
if you want in on the introductory pricing, you will need to put up a $500 deposit, first come, first served...

Nice!!! Its good to see the C55 getting some more support. Are there any more parts in the works for a C55? And lastly are there any reliability issues to think about when adding an after market cam?

yup, i will post up a video of the car idling with the cams, they are not lopy at all, they are barely noticeable until you step on the throttle...

You may want to check AMG-Jerry's "porting, polishing, and cams" thread, but IIRC it's $1,000 - $1,500 job to have a shop install cams.
So, you're talking about a $3k+ mod, parts & labor, if you're not going to DIY... and camshaft install is typically one of those "professional installation recommended" type of mods, I believe.
Of course, with any modding, the law of diminishing returns starts to kick in eventually... the first $3k you drop into a m112k might net you 50+ rwhp, but the next $3k might only gain an extra 15-20 rwhp...
edit: wawy, just noticed that you're a C55 - YMMV, but I'd guess very similar install costs to what we C32 owners are presented with - maybe someone can chime in if there're any C55 owners who've had cams installed?
