What are your thoughts on the Whole Brawn, Button, BMW fiasco that is going to be F1 in 2010? I'm having a hard time following drivers let alone teams-is Alonso driving for Ferarri now? ShoeMaker coming back? 4 new teams?

Well it does appear that I'm the old guy on this C32/C55 thing. Oh well. Now for F1.
Button in my opinion was a mid pack runner at best. The only thing he had going for him this year was RB's (The Wizard) car. It was by far the best car on the grid in the early part of the season. As the season went on Button struggled but he had so many early points that he was hard to catch.
BMW is a strange case. It appears to me that they bailed on the team to include Mario in the dead of the night for the most part. When they announced that they were not going to participate in F1 in 2010 it caught everyone flat footed.
With Alonso at Ferrari and Schumacher at Silver Arrows with Brawn I believe the entire grid is looking at 3rd spot on the podium. Hopefully Schumacher still possesses the magic and with that he will be able to secure an 8th World title.
I think you'll see Nico on the podium but probably without a win. Alonso is dangerous but I really believe that Massa will show him the way around a track. Massa is a hell of a lot faster than most (Schumacher trained!) and he knows Ferrari inside and out. If Alonso begins to snivel (which he does!) because Massa is faster Ferrari may just abandon him like they did Prost. Watch for Vettel to be in the Silver Arrow car maybe as early as next season (2011).
McLaren will be a force (as they pretty much always are) but with Schumacher in the field he has that intimidation factor. Yes, there will be drivers that will want to knock him off his thrown but Schumacher is certainly no dummy. He knows how to get into drivers heads! Watch the fireworks between Schumacher and Alonso. That's where the pure entertainment value will be IMHO!
The only down side to 2010 as I can see at this moment is the absence of Kimi. He will be certainly missed on the grid. Well I know I'll miss his talent!
