Just passing by and reading this thread and I wanted to say that this is the WORST WAY to do it. Use dyno mode if you want ESP to be FULLY off.

Give it a try on a empty road, you WON'T like it my friend.

See yeah

PS: Yes even with ESP off, it is still lurking in the background, aka not FULLY off.
You DO NOT lose Air bags when ESP is off or in dyno mode.
Where do you get these ideas?

Again, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but in DYNO mode you loose

1. ABS
2. ESP
3. Air bags

Sorry, but it is true. Put it in dyno mode and your center screen will tell you what is off as it scrolls through, and yes my 04 says AIRBAGS my friend. This is where the information came from, as well as Numerous GREAT people on this thread. WOW, they are NOT ideas my friend but facts.

Note: I never said this about ESP being off, if you read my threads.

See yeah

I'll believe it when I see a picture because I have never heard of that before from anyone and after reading it I did a few searches. From a technical standpoint it makes no sense. Also in my own vehicle, which is a 2005 W203 but not an AMG, I get no such message about airbags in dyno mode. Just ESP, ABS, BAS.

I find this impossible to believe - especially because no one has mentioned it in the past. No disrespect meant.

EDIT: To be fair, I did just find a thread where MB Fanatic stated that you lose airbags. But no one commented about that. Maybe its on pre 2005 vehicles or something? VERY weird.
