i've attached two pics, the first being when the badge is brand new and the second after a year when some of the paint chipped away and started to fade.

I have one, and the ONLY reason I'll part with it is due to the fact that I just sold my C55. From what I can see here you're having a tough time and I can see why as these can't be found easily by any means. Are they worth it? I snagged mine a few years ago and yes indeed there's a world of difference between it and the rest of the resin knock offs that can be found elsewhere. The pics below should tell the rest.
