i noticed a slight chirp this morning when i started it. someone else had told the idlers were junk as well. maybe ill do the belt, crank and idler pulleys in one shot. im just about to break 49k, so im sure its due.......

It does jump a little harder off the line (more torque). As for the tool ebay has it for about $40 dollars. When I replaced the crank pulley I also replaced the bolt and the top plastic idler pulley it had blown out the grease for the bearing and car only had 15,000 miles so keep an eye on that.

thats a nice timeslip. MIR is usually a pretty quick track. were lucky in this area. there are a lot of fast places to run without driving ten hours.

haha hey carl, after going nuts on the c55 he went nuts on a jeep srt8, everything but forced induction ie. ported heads, intake longtubes yada yada yada, it sounds like the devil!! sorry to go OT guys.

yeah the car flys thats for sure its much faster in the cooler temps. I got my eyes on a Renntech Supercharger but that a ways away
