Ok, we've decided to start distributing AIS Methanol injection systems. [url]http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.com]

We are offering this offer to the first 5 buyers that would like to get a meth system.

Our Price is 15% off of retail on any systems. Group buy price will be 15% off of retail + 5% CC fee + shipping. If you pay via money order or check, the CC fee is dropped.

Again, this is only for the first five buyers.

We've decided to go with them due to their high quality tanks and extremely easy installation process. A lot of high HP Corvette guys swear by them, and hopefully we can get some AMG's to do the same.

anybody use any of these products? how exactly does it work, and is it safe? safe meaning will it take away life of the engine or hurt the engine somehow? I am not very familiar with this so as much info as possible would help a lot. I am interested in buying one of these if they are really beneficial to the car.
Thanks

Interesting... I've known of a few people with these kits on their benz. Mario had one on his HPS E55 and I believe it lowered the IAT a lot. I forget which kit he had or if it was custom. Are any of these kits made CARB approved? I would think that an alcohol injection kit would be easy to get approved (notwithstanding the cost for CARB approval) since it can improve MPG and lower NOx emissions and smog levels.

Works great. Instant Octane boost and lower temps. Had to sell mine since I would need two separate ECU tunes to go from street to track mode.

I know of one SRT6 that has used it and got great results. We were basically offering these at costs so that more people can try them out and hopefully introduce another product into the community.

We need a minimum of five systems for that price though, we have one Crossfire interested.

The thing that stops most people is that it is fairly new and no one wants to be a guinea pig.

I have been thinking of doing this mod for a while now - where I live in Perth Oz summertime temps are regularly in the mid to high 30'sC, there is a noticable drop in performance form winter.

found this from a SLK32 guy

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/for...ement-960.html

Water Meth injection is not new, it was used extensively in WW2 to increase power in aircraft. If you google Water injection i found some very interesting articles. One was a Luftwaffe fighter that increased power from 1700Hp to over 2200Hp with water meth injection. The Meth was originally used to stop the water from freezing but after testing some British guy found that it actually increased the octane into the cylinders and a 50/50 mix was deemed to be safe (ie NON flammable). And there is also a formula for how much to inject as a % of fuel volume.

there is a calculator at the bottom of this page to determine the nozzle size. There is also a good deal of info on the page.

which one did you have? Do you have a link, and by chance remember how much it was and how hard/long the install was?
Thanks,
Bobby C

The subaru guys have been using meth injection for years. gives you race gas results on pump gas. when i upgrade to a 18g, i'm getting meth.

Interestingly, i don't hear alot about meth injection on supercharged cars.

will running meth put more wear on the engine(engine life) in the long run, or will it help the life of the engine? How hard are these things to install?
