Hi guys. I was wondering how do some people get black badges? Do you paint them while they are on the car? Do you paint them once you debadge your car? Can you put the same badges back on once you debadge? Are they sold somewhere?
Looked around and asked a guy who has it done to his C32, no reply.

For my case, I de-badged it with fishing lines and hair blow dryer. Got rid of the left over 3M tape. Painted it. Put some new 3M tape on it (had to cut the 3M tape into small pieces = pain in the a**). That's how I did it.
I strongly suggest going with what rlee suggested. I found out the hard way

Edit: a tip for putting the badge back on. When the car's surface is cold, go close to the car and exhale on the area of where the badge used to be, you will see the trace mark left behind from the original badge. It will help you placing the new, painted, badges on.
