Question 0-60 times?

Searched on zero to 60 time LET ecu and pulley and came up with zippy. Anyone know what 0-60 times with slight mods? I think stock is around 5.2 maybe better and just curious about the times with some mods.

I've heard of sub-five seconds stock with some practice.

No way are these cars in the 5's 0-60 unless you just dont know how to drive your car at all, which cant be too hard since it is an auto lol. But for real I have seen some vids and reviews of these cars running anywhere from 4.5-4.9 stock. AutoCar 0-60 review Claims 4.6 as the C32 official 0-60 time(Look on LET's website). I guess all these cars are a little different just cause they are not factory made, they are all made/built by hand so some motors are just what AMG claims they are and others are just pure monsters(like what some of the members on this site got lucky with getting). So with a few mods like pulleys and an ECU tune(AKA Jerry-Tune) your 0-60 times will be slightly better i would think but not too much. BUT, where you will really see an improvement with those kind of mods are in your 1/4 mile times, and rolling acceleration times like from 20-40MPH, 40-60MPH, 60-80MPH, 70-100MPH and so on. Check out Code3 on youtube for differences from stock to a pulley, its pretty cool.

The best 0-60 I got with my 02 c32 was 4.74 sec. However, that was before they changed my transmission and the tcu. I havent timed it now, but I am thinking about... Trbo2nr, I am certain that with your mods, your 0-60 should be around 4.2-4.5 sec and 1/4 should be around 12.6-12.8 sec. I am thinking of going the same route as you modswise. Have you done any testing or 1/4 mile runs?

That's about what I'm guessing. I'd love to get it on a track but need to wait until I change the suspension/tires......might not happen this year. Economy sucks, two kids fixing to hit college next year and one of their laptops crapped out. My toys will have to take a back seat (somewhat of a backseat).

hey what mods do you have now? I see in your sig that you have K&N filters and some mods with x's next to them...do those x's mean you have them or you are getting them or you want them or what? Sorry if its way to obvious that its just way over my head lol But here is what Im talking about in your Sig:
K&N filters
[x] Code3 intake
[x] Code3 supercharger pulley
[x] LET tuned ECU
[x] StealthAuto clear side markers
[ ] LET heat exchanger
[ ] Suspension and wheels
I am pretty sure that that means you have the Code3 S/C Pulley, Code3 Intake, LET-Tune and are waiting or getting the LET heat exchanger. Those are the exact same mods that I am running right now on my 02 C32, only I have Green filters instead of the K&N like you. I am also waiting to get the LET heat exchanger too(not sure if it will improve acceleration of the car, anyone know?) and debating what kind of Suspension and wheels to go with. Do you know what suspension you are going to run yet? Also, how fast does your car feel now with those mods compared to how it felt stock? Just asking to get your opinion vs. my opinion on how the mods are working.
Thanks

Have those with the [x] marked. Without are those still pending. I want the coilovers PS9 (close to 1900.00). Nice rims and tires I'm sure is at least 3,000. So, I'm thinking the whole setup will put me back around 5k.

The feel is completely night and day.......mainly after LET did the tune based
on my current setup.

I dunno what that sound is...I think there is something broken on that car making that siren noise, or maybe a small animal stuck under the hood lol

It's the Code3 Intake which amplifies the Supercharger whine. It makes the throttle more responsive and mostly the sound is under WOT.

Hey Loungn14, if you are running 12.4 in the 1/4, then your 0-60 must be 4 seconds flat. Must be a blast to drive your car. How much did all the mods cost you to mod your car to this level? Any suspension upgrades? Also, is your car as fast off of rolling acceleration as the c32 on the youtube video with the code3 pulley and intake? Sry for all the questions, I am just curious. I want to mod my car just trying to figure out which way is the best.

I think I can chime on alkrstev's question. loun had let 185mm, let ecu , sl55 intake?, let HE, let headers? I remember reading about his time and it impressed me that I remembered his set up. Dont remember for sure were I have question mark and he might of been running drags.

Btw guys do you think if I cool my car with water and if I cool it with special mercedes intercooler liquid it will change my 1/4 in any way? Also does residue from the intercooler affect performance in any way? My intake manifold has green residue on the sides from leaking IC. Thanks!

I love that "annoying siren sound." Its the Code III intake. The Code III intake opens up the back near the firewall. Its not that bad if you don't "jump on it."

Here is me and AMG_Jerry having fun on the way to the track event. We were doing around 55 when I dropped the pedel...

He had trouble keeping up (sorry jerry I had to) as his car went into limp mode from the cat's being clogged.

Now, I just try and stay away from Jerrys car, as it is quite some beast!

You know, I have never actually gotten a 0-60 speed on the car as strange as that sounds. But, it is a blast, expecially when you run with other cars that don't expect you to be that fast...(Z06, etc)

As far as the video with the code3, my car is faster as the code3 from what I last remember (please chime in if I am wrong) is equiv to the 178 crank pully. I am running the 185 with a special tune dialed in for my mods. Check out the youtube video above.

If your concidering mods, go all out with the newest technology. I would recommend the 185 by far. I have raced Victor and his car is a monster, but he wishes he would have gone to the 185. I'm sure he will chime in soon...

No, no! You won hands down. A win is a win and I can't blame my poor car. BTW - I'm still getting a misfire on Cyl. 6.

Now, if you could go this weekend, we could make some really great videos!! Our track event is this weekend!!!

Bobby you in?

Im impressed that you remember the stats...ya, i have about everything that LET offers on the car. Also helps that Jerry is a friend and lives minutes away. IAT's are always a problem with this car, and a second tank in the trunk with some "water wetter" will help with that. Jerry is running this setup and it is quite nice as in a quarter mile run he never uses the same fluid through the engine. (meaning extra reservoir and a great deal of fluid)

Our cars sound really good during a fly-by.

Here is mine near the house.

Here is another...the Eisenmann is louder than the S/C.

ya, the Eisenmann is bad ****, but very loud and has the potential of attracting unwanted attention from nearby police....(not like that has ever happened...)

But very cool videos nevertheless...

What is your 0-60 jerry? I assume your new toy should have that feature built in?

On average, a stock C32 should do 0-60 in 4.8 to 4.9 seconds. There will be small variations depending on many factors, such as, weather conditions, tire conditions, street surface conditions, driver error, traction loss, etc.... When I had my car, I was averaging 4.8 to 4.9 stock. I used two different devices to measure this: G-Tech Pro RR and G-Timer. Now I have the RaceLogic GPS (most accurate) but don't have the car

Stage 1 and Stage 2 cars should average between 4.3 to 4.5. Although one time I did manage a 4.26, but it was a one time fluke that I wasn't able to re-produce again no matter what I did.

Beyond Stage 2 cars should easily be in the low 4 seconds or high 3s, but traction will play a much bigger role due to the excessive power. LSD might help, but not much in a straight line.
