I have a couple of tree-hugging neighbors and they think their Highlander Hybrid is the *****. 25/27 mpg? No problem for the C32.
I've seen 27mpg on the highway on mine as well. driving very carefully avg around 65mph. once you get on the throttle it's all over. I've been avg 21-22mpg on the freeway going at 70-75mph.

subscribed for the picture btw.

Its quiet, programmable and updateable on the net with a USB cable. Best unit, bar none, that I've ever known. No falses (or rare) and no ghosting like the V-1. Get one!! I run with mine on AutoNoX (means Auto with No X band since in Il they dont use X anymore , its all K or Ka band or Lidar here. :woohoo:
Agreed! Mine has payed for itself several times over already. Best detector I've ever used bar none.

I just finished the drivers side today and all it needs is to be cleaned up and driven over to be powder coated. I will finish the passengers side tomorrow and see if I can't get everything ready for good pictures this weekend.

Our powder coater has over 300 colors and can color match the pipes to the engine cover if he doesn't have an exact match already.

The engine cover can't be powder coated (by this guy), so we will end up offering the color matched pipes / covers as the default option at no charge.

Pricing is TBD but I'm aiming for $499 - $549 for the C32 kit (dual filters).

Pricing is TBD for the C320 / C240 but we are aiming for $249 - $350 for the single filter kit.

Rural America.

Many trips up and down I-35 out of Kansas City, @ 80 mph on cruise my 3 hour trips nets 21.5 every time. When my HE pump went out last month I made a complete trip that netted 28 mpg but it did have a hard time getting to 80 mph. I cant believe it took 6 years for someone to fab a whole new air intake system though? Stupid Hondas have them before they land on U.S. shores.

By my rough calculations you should be able to see about a 25% increase in mileage at 28mpg ? Say you gain 7 miles per gallon or about 100 miles with this set up? Is it me or will the average C32 owner with this intake save one tank of gas every month?

If the intake is set at 500 bux this should pay for itself in about 8-10 months with what you save in gas?

Your calculations are correct in theory but in practicality I don't think it's going to happen. The purpose of this mod is to get more power, not to save gas. You would have to change your driving behavior and the SC whine can be addicting. Yes, it's nice to know that it's possible to reach +25 mpg but what's the point of having a 400 hp car under 2,500 rpm for 8-10 months.

Assuming a conservative estimate of 2mpg gained on the combined cycle (assume 20mpg stock here, but I've only got 18 for the life of the car) and driving 500 miles a month, you would save almost 2.3 gallons. At $4.70 per gallon, that is $10.81/month. At a cost of $550, it would take almost 51 months or 4.23 years to break even. If you drive 1000 miles in a month, that number is halved of course.

Look at it as a performance mod, but with other benefits too!

I vote someone makes an AMG Green Series badge to **** off prius drivers.

A while back I was fighting people why C3P was not posting photos of his clutch pulley and intake...

it took a while but the product became reality..

I would not wish that on Jerry.. in due time he wil release his product.

I will pony up and say I read it the same way as Zeppelin. Today the temp was 84 degrees and I was getting 27.5 out of my stock C32 with cruise on at 70 MPH or so. When I saw 8-10 MPG better I was also thinking my MPG would go to around 34 MPG with this intake.

If I could get another 3 MPG (Around 30-31 MPG) out of my stock C32 with just an intake I would be happy. Plus sounds like with the intake you pick up a couple ponies also.

I don't think that's what he's saying at all. He simply stated the HE noticed an improvement. He did NOT specifically attribute it to the intake. Not from what I read anyway. I run the Code III intake (a lil different) and did Notice an increase as well in MPG, not 7-8 MPG, but at least 2-3. I also run the same roads and also use cruise control once traffic clears. I have never gotten less than 25 MPG on the highway on my modded car. As long as I 'stay out of it" and out of the SC engagement, which is quite easy to do, then 25 is easy. I can see how he got almost 28 with his car. Its fast, well-maintained and his trip with the kids is an easy one on the car too. Why bust the stones here??? He's not selling this to GM, MB , DC or anyone else. Simply stating his opinion (and showing a cool photo of how he did).. Oh, and by the way, we are working on a switch to turn off the SC for even better mileage. It would be an electrical disconnect.

What Jerry did not tell you in his defense is that it was in the 50s here in the burbs this morning so the cool air probably helped too. My car is an absolute beast when the temps drop and at 50 degrees, I can easily see the higher mileage (more dense mixture) at low altitudes as well.
