If I could get another 3 MPG (Around 30-31 MPG) out of my stock C32 with just an intake I would be happy. Plus sounds like with the intake you pick up a couple ponies also.
are the geographic pretty flat around where you live? 27mpg cruise at 70mph is something i can't get. I only manage 23.5mpg going 70mph today. This is with the SoCal/LA's up and down basin.

Had to be all downhill driving or a serious tail wind! At 70mph on flat road I'm doing good to hit 24mpg. However, on a flat straight road I rarely keep it at 70mph. I feel as though I'm doing the car an injustice.

Yeah seriously, you must be running like 40 psi in your tires and turning the engine off down hills! I never get anything better than 24 even with the a/c off.

Made a 150 mile trip here in the atlanta area last weekend. Kept the cruise on 80 on the interstates and drove non-aggressively while in town. Overall I averaged 21.8mpg.

I've never beaten about 23.5mpg even locked on 55mph on the interstate. Maybe it's just the hot humid atlanta weather, heh.

Either way I'm buying this intake (in black) as soon as it's available. Already got wife approval on this one, hehe.

Quite possible Biscuit, my car in Florida with the high temps and humidity is a dog, both gas mileage and performance wise. Thats why you are seeing the best times in the drags either at night down there or up north when its in the 50s or 60s. I can easily get 26-27 on the highway in Chicago if I stay out of it, set cruise about 65. we do have some hills, so its not all flat either. Gotta be the weather in Hotlana.

It is pretty flat around here. That trip was just your normal slight inclines up and down in the highway. If it gets hilly it will drop to 23 or 24 MPG

No that is normal tire pressure and running at 70 MPH with wifey (120 Pounds) as the passgenger. If the road stays flat I stay right around 27.5 MPG. Once it gets hilly drops to 23 to 24. When I was going down a couple hills it hit like 32 to 35. These are all with cruise control on.

Car is all stock.

Then a certain Z350 tails you because the car that is passing me will not get out of the fast lane so the Z can pass. Waited till he got to my passenger door and there it goes down to 10 MPG

Yup, but I want to show you guys the final piece... I'm on vacation from 1st - 10th and Erick will make sure the photos get uploaded while I'm gone. I'm leaving my car with the fabricators (FMU) and they will ensure all is done and tested.

Here is a teaser pic of the jig / prototype.

Well I am not so scared because the pipes and the partial covers you guys used to replace the OEM airboxes can be painted too they seem but I have to say I definetly like this idea Cold air coming from the front and forced in...is fine by me.

No problem guys!

Can we start a list of those who want one? We are making 10 of these up front...then the price will go up a bit.

I need to know what color you want the tubes and covers. The default color will be the same as the stock engine cover.

1. cnchung (no color specified)
2. splinter (no color specified)
3. mramg1 (no color specified)
4. loungn14 (black as of now - call me)
5. amg-jerry (black)
6.

Red has ordered and paid

Anyone else I forgot? I know I have gotten many phone calls from members that want the kit.

Click Here to Order - Please put the color in the notes section.

Big thanks to our partner, Fluid Motor Union for all their recent help. With LET and FMU now teaming up, you can expect big things from our corner in the future!! They have been super kind and have put up with me running around the shop, bugging them about headers, intakes, using tools and shop materials. OJ and Craig are very friendly and helpful and are willing to tackle most projects we throw at them. I'm glad that we decided to use them for fabrication and Chicago based installs. Hopefully, we can start providing products at a faster pace. Thanks!

I can say that even though I really don't know what the front looks like(cause I never seen it). It will be attractive and very functional! Jerry or Erick will definitely post when things are ready...

I am not as spirited driver as Jerry so to yield those numbers must mean this Intake mod works well.
