It may be an easy fix because they will just replace your bottom seat with the new one... The Cost however, would be high.

Very fast
I was referring to fixing it myself, if it is just a broken wire. I am pretty handy with a solder iron.

if you have an SLR, it might be different than our lowly C classes.

Anyways I had an idea though, are the passenger and drivers seats interchangable? Heck I'd rather have my butt warm if it comes down to it haha.

OK, just how easy are we talking?
I've got the seats with lumbar support, bolster and whatever else controls...(4 or 5 little switches by your thigh) does this make a difference as to how "easy" it is to fix?
Thanks!

For the record, the SLR is still at the dealership, I am not sure why the banks won't approve my loan yet. Right now, I am just driving a lowly C32

The reason is that the SLR is becoming a dinosaur in the Mercedes performance stable. Particularly when you can pick up a 2005 SL 65 AMG for about 70 K these days with 20 K miles. I too drive a lowly C32 The SLR sits in the garage (the dealers garage!!)
