I really don't know what kind of gains could be had, but I remember an episode of top gear where they tested a Lotus Exige on E85(similar to race gas) and were able to tune an extra 30hp? Completely different car, but it was supercharged. I guess we wont know until LET or somone else does some tunning on race gas.

I think it would be good for people who live in strict smog states, one tune for performance and another tune to pass smog.
cali is a bad place to have a super tune car. with the 91 octane already a BI***** for the car.
