He has a set made by BDJ Racing. These are a different animal. If he removed the BDJ's and added the Needswings, that's news to me.

Thanks for posting the pics.

Cool, I'm sure all of us here are anxiously waiting for the dyno graphs.

Pics are nice, thanks guys. Gains/pricing/C32 fitment potential would all be interesting to know; in due time, I suppose

IIRC, a 34 HP gain was reported in prototype tests. The intro price for the first 15 sets is $1190 with teflon coating, and all are apparently spoken for. After the initial batch the price will go up. There may be fitment issues if you have an SL55 splitter.

Heres some of the Specs:

I am quoting them from the Crossfire website

"stock pass side manifold flowed 255-260cfm
our new pas side manifold before the teflon coating did 455-460cfm
after teflon coating 480-485cfm

1 teflon = slippery = more cfm = more kick in the chest when you push the go pedal.
2 teflon is tinted with gunmetal color in pics below but can be tinted the light silver color we do the CAI's in, i imaging white/black and other shades between would be easy for them but i dont know how elaborate they can get if you say you want john deer green, or cranberry. so the teflon solves our finish to the product, it coats it and makes it nice and pretty.
3. it coats the aluminum to prevent oxidation = the expensive part you bought should outlast the car."
Holds the Same amount of boost is what they are claiming.

Heres a Picture of the text written on one of the intakes (This is what you can also have Customized)

FYI, guys the cost of these will NOT be under 4 digits.

I think the Group Buy (that is full, I believe) has them at just over $1,000. I expect the full retail will be at least $1,200.

I think the speculation was/is that another M112K tuning firm might be working on a similiar (or the same) upgrade, and that the price point might be lower from THAT company... at least, that's how I read it.

Honestly if the customization is offered for the super imposed lettering and color option I would buy them!

I just hope this doesn't turn into 3-6 month failure threads like some in the past.......

We have some of our own on these boards working these out as well. Nothing against needswing, but I'll sit back and wait as I would expect our price to be under 4 digits with the same specs or better and we can keep it in the family here. Pure speculation on the price though, not the part.
